A remote-control spray system lets the operator control the hose reel, pump, and spray functions from a handheld radio transmitter — typically up to 150m away from the unit. Intelli-spray systems use 915 MHz radio frequency, which provides reliable range across open paddocks and within buildings or vehicles. This means one operator can complete jobs that used to require two people, reducing labor costs and improving safety.

What types of vehicles can Intelli-spray systems mount on?

Intelli-spray hose reels are built for professional, high-frequency use. The reels are constructed from 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance, and the Supa-Slip hose is rated for demanding field conditions. Quik Corp has manufactured retractable hose reel systems since 1988, and many original systems are still in service today. Our tanks come with a lifetime warranty.
What is the difference between the Firefly, Firehopper, and Firebird units?
All three are fire suppression units but are sized for different vehicles and deployment scenarios. The Firefly is the most compact — designed for light vehicles and rapid deployment on smaller rural properties. The Firehopper is designed for UTV mounting, offering increased capacity and fire-fighting performance. The Firebird is a heavy-duty unit for trucks and large vehicles, suited to serious rural fire-fighting operations and emergency response teams.
